October 2008 - ePHOTOzine - Editor´s Review "Arcadia PhotoPerfect Review - Arcadia Software can make even Matt Grayson's pictures PhotoPerfect. In the words of Wedge Antilles: That's impossible, even for a computer." "Aimed at the high end workflow enthusiast, Photoperfect is intended to ease the amount of work you have to perform by integrating batch processing with preset algorithms. I was pleased with how quickly the system was downloaded onto my computers bulging hard drive. It only took a few minutes to get everything on there with the system launched and ready to go. PhotoPerfect doesn't require you to reboot the computer before it can be used." "For the money it's quite a decent package especially if you're on a budget or need a good batch processor." ePHOTOzine, October 7th, 2008 - Click here to read more ... |

March 2008 – Nikonians Blog – Editor´s Review "At first glance the operating controls are so numerous that first-timers to the world of digital editing may be overwhelmed, but with the help of simple online tutorials, the buttons and functions are easy to understand. " You will find built-in batch processing functions for a variety of uses, including the handy eBay processor, which took this image of a GPS unit and within seconds condensed it to a handy eBay-compatible size. Likewise, you will find a simple email function that quickly takes a pile of your favorite photos and compresses them to the proper size (screen width and file size) for emailing to family and friends. It even opens your email program and attaches the files. These are just two of the handy easy-step functions. There are plenty more to choose from the minute you open the program. | March 2007 – Foto Praxis – Review "Photo effects" "As an image processing tool, [PhotoPerfect]* 2.84 can help you to get closer to reality. The program has a range of interesting and even unique filters. These help you to turn a nondescript snapshot into a brilliant photograph that attracts everybody’s attention." "Beginners can profit from the automatic image optimization which doesn’t ask complicated questions, but simply improves the photograph. [PhotoPerfect]* also allows for complex image retouching, e.g. to remove skin blemishes, unwanted mother-in-laws or other unnecessary details." | March 2007 – fotolife – Review "Special retouching tools for digital images" "[PhotoPerfect]* 2.84 is an image processing program specially designed for the needs of digital camera users. In contrast to Photoshop, the image processing for digital cameras is limited to those functions which you need over and over again in post-processing of digital photographs. This includes, for instance, automatic pincushion correction, correction of converging lines in images taken from an oblique angle and retrospective noise suppression. Photos can be trimmed very easily, have dates added to them and also be printed in index form. For advanced users [PhotoPerfect]* offers a macro language for batch processing of recurring tasks such as correction or conversion. The software can read in all common image and RAW formats including PSD. New features of the latest version include GPS data import, stereo processing, a DRI image mixer and a black-and-white converter with the name MonochromiX. Conclusion: For advanced digital camera users, [PhotoPerfect]* is a real pick-me-up." fotolife, 3/2007 – Click here to read more (German) ... |

| January 2007 – c't – Review "Photo-Workshop: Mid-range image processing programs" "Conclusion: As a niche product for digital photographers [PhotoPerfect]* performs excellently and achieved the fastest reaction in tests. [...] The program is entirely devoted to photo optimization – it cannot do more, but this task is fulfilled admirably." | November 2006 – PC-Welt online – Review "Image processing with special correction features" "The professional image processing program [PhotoPerfect]* contains special correction features which allow you to post-process your photos in many different ways and to professional standards. The new PerfectlyClear technology makes photos appear as natural as possible." "According to the makers, PerfectlyClear works in the same way as the human eye, correcting the lighting parameters for each individual pixel. The realistic impressions which the plug-in produces led to its receiving the DIMA Award as Innovative Digital Product of the Year in 2005." | September 2006 – c't – Review "Image optimizer with black-and-white plug-in: The image enhancement program [PhotoPerfect]* converts color photos to high-quality black-and-white images with the MonochromiX module" "With MonochromiX it is possible to achieve exactly dosed conversion from color to gray scale including simulation of classic monochrome photographic film such as T-Max or Ilford. The user selects the desired film via the Film Profile and then makes a variety of adjustments using filters and sliders, e.g. to gradation, highlights and shadows. The user can convert practically any color contrast to any black-and-white contrast." Dieter Brors, c't – magazin für computer technik, 17/2006, page 44 – Click here to read more (German) ... |

You have a superb software here and I am falling in love with it every minute. I am mostly using the "Batch Optimize" function as this is where I save a lot of time and work. Overall, I am what you might say 90% very satisfied with the results. Besides I am very happy with the performance improvement with i2ePro upgrade. I am getting so far a +75% performance improvement...from 15secs per image o 4.2secs per image. I am really very very happy. Tony Perez, Singapore |
Many thanks for your prompt support, this really makes your software among the best in the market. Vijay Dahiya, Abu Dhabi, UAE |
I really do find PhotoPerfect to be a great program whose structure I find very intuitive. Larry Williams, SC, USA |
